Producer
Having started my career in New York City, I bring my understanding of big city expectations and pace to every production.
With my background as an assistant director and writer-director, I leverage my thorough understanding of logistics, tech, emotion and marketing to shepherd story and produce superlative media within the constraints of time and budget.
Fixer
Location Scouting ~ Logistical Support ~ Local Crews ~ Casting ~ Location Management ~ Permitting
As a Fixer, I help out-of-area production companies achieve outstanding production value with less cost and more efficiency, in the spectacular cinematic locations of Oregon and Northern California.
Using my local knowledge and industry connections, I provide prep and production services to mitigate the specific challenges of filming in the great outdoors - in our mountains, forests, lakes, rivers, dunes, high desert and on the coast.
You Go Girl!
Sundance Film Festival premiere 2022
Producer, Co-Writer & 1st Assistant Director
Audrey, a New York City comedian who can make a joke of any situation, faces a staggering challenge in the beautiful mountains of Oregon. Can this city woman overcome her fears and rise?
I found a local grant that was perfect for our team and we brought this laugh-out-loud, profoundly moving short film to life – and to great success.
YOU GO GIRL! directed by Shariffa Ali, starring Tiffany Mann, is an AliAlea & The Black Whole Inc. Production, produced by Adrian Alea, Kamilah Long, and Courtney Williams, in association with Oregon Shakespeare Festival, with Grant Support from Travel Oregon, Oregon Film and Oregon Made Creative Foundation.
Written by Shariffa Ali, Kamilah Long, Courtney Williams and David Zheng.
Ash Land
Producer & 1st Assistant Director
ASH LAND offers a portrait of a Black woman who has turned her back on herself. When an enigmatic spirit catches up to her, she cultivates an understanding of true restoration and rebirth that reignites her love of Ashland, Oregon.
I teamed up with theatremakers Shariffa Ali and Adrian Alea, and helped them apply their tremendous storytelling skills to filmmaking. We created a beautiful, emotive short film for the O! Digital Stage, the brainchild of former Oregon Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director, Nataki Garret.
Theatre on Film
a live performance series from Oregon Shakespeare Festival
Producer
As Film Producing Partner for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s inaugural Theatre on Film series, I produced multi-camera shoots and designed a workflow for remote edits with multiple stakeholders, working with up to seven unique camera angles. We created cinematic films of six live theatrical productions, bringing each theatre director’s vision to the screen: The Tempest, Once Upon this Island, Dr. G’s Bingo Extravaganza, Unseen, King John, Revenge Song.
